Walthamstow Town Hall (now officially known as Waltham Forest Town Hall) is a Grade II listed masterpiece of inter-war Stripped Classicism. Designed by architect Philip Dalton Hepworth in 1932 and completed under wartime conditions in 1942, the building fuses restrained classical massing with simplified, Nordic-inflected architectural trends popular in Sweden at the time.

The imposing civic building features a highly symmetrical facade clad in brilliant Portland stone, anchored by an elongated central portico and topped with a prominent copper clock tower.
